Marianthi Plioni at Luz Del Mes Tri-Anthology

Marianthi Plioni was born in Athens, Greece. She was lucky to grow up with other kids and play in her neighborhood. She started writing poems and stories from her school years, on nature, which she considered as an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Marianthi continues writing as a teacher for her students. She trained at Marasleio Didaskaleio for students with special needs and learning difficulties. Since then she supports students of special needs at her school’s Integration Class as part of Special Treatment.   

She writes poems for children, Haiku, fiction, and short stories. Many of them have been included in Anthologies and are free to read online. She has been awarded for her participation in contests for her stories and Haiku. Her first Anthology of Poems was published in November 2018, for children 4-12 years old, under the title ‘’With the Wings of Hope’’ Roes Publishing House, with Athina's Petouli illustrations.

In July 2019, her short stories under the title ‘’Two M under the Shades of Love’’ were published, with Marianthi’s Papadi contribution, by Arinoi Publishing House.

 Η Μαριάνθη Πλειώνη γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα, στην Ελλάδα. Ήταν τυχερή να μεγαλώσει μαζί με άλλα παιδιά και να παίξει στη γειτονιά της. Άρχισε να γράφει ποιήματα και ιστορίες από τα σχολικά της έτη, για τη φύση, την οποία θεωρούσε  ανεξάντλητη πηγή έμπνευσης. Η Μαριάνθη συνεχίζει να γράφει ως δασκάλα για τους μαθητές της. Της έχουν απονεμηθεί βραβεία για τη συμμετοχή της σε διαγωνισμούς τις ιστορίες της και τα Haiku. Η πρώτη της Ανθολογία ποιημάτων εκδόθηκε τον Νοέμβριο του 2018 για παιδιά ηλικίας 4-12 ετών με τον τίτλο '' Με τα φτερά της ελπίδας '', Εκδόσεις Roes, με εικονογράφηση της Αθηνάς Πετούλη. Τον Ιούλιο του 2019, εκδώθηκαν τα διηγήματά  της με τον τίτλο  «Δύο Μ κάτω από τις σκιές της αγάπης», με τη συμβολή της Μαριάνθης Παπαδή, από τον εκδοτικό οίκο Arinoi.
