At a time when most writers are considering retirement Carolyn Howard-Johnson became a multi award-winning novelist and poet. She received the California Legislature’s Woman of the Year in Arts and Entertainment Award, her community’s Character and Ethics and Diamond Award, and was also named to Pasadena Weekly’s list “Fourteen San Gabriel Valley women who make life happen.
Her most recent poetry book, Imperfect Echoes, was published to the acclaim of Midwest Book Review who called her “a truly impressive literary talent.” Self-published in the tradition of poets for millenniums, Imperfect Echoes is a USA Book News Award finalist, was given the Bronze in Dan Poynter’s Global eBook Awards, an Honorable Mention from Writer’s Digest and two poems from it were selected for publication by the prestigious Poetry Magazine founded in 1912. Learn more about all her books at
