Gladys María Montolío

Nació en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana. Licenciada en Psicología, en Mercy College, Nueva York (1990). Realizó una maestría en Educación Bilingüe en City University, Nueva York, 1995. Trabajó como docente de primaria e intermedia en la ciudad de Nueva York. Publicó su primer poemario titulado Vivencias, 2007. Incursionó en la literatura para niños con el poemario Arcoíris de inocencia, 2011. En el 2016 publicó “El oso pintor y otros cuentos” (cuentos infantiles). En el 2017 publicó el poemario Inmensidad y acopió la Colección poética LACUHE 2017; dando inicio a una serie antológica anual. Es fundadora y presidente de The Latin American Cultural Heritage Inc, organización sin fines de lucro, que tiene como objetivo, promover el arte y la cultura latinoamericana en Nueva York. Fundó, LACUHE ediciones, con el objetivo de ayudar a la comunidad literaria a publicar sus libros. En el año 2008 celebró el primer Encuentro Cultural Latinoamericano celebrado hasta la fecha donde se otorga el premio “Personalidad Cultural Del Año” en la ciudad de Nueva York. En el año 2017 al 2019 organizó la primera Feria Internacional del Libro LACUHE del Bronx.
