Deep into Haiku with Luz Del Mes Tri-Anthology

Who has translated Haiku into English at the first time and introduced it to the world?
Professor Masashi Nakamura, Researcher of Japanese Culture History explains,
The West's first introduction to haiku was Mr. Basil Hall Chamberlain's great pioneer work, Japanese Poetry (1910), in a chapter entitled “Bashō and the Japanese Epigram.” However, Haiku itself was written in the chapter “; frog in Exotics and Retrospectives 1898 by Mr. Lafcadio Hearn before Basil's publication.
Matsuo Bashō (1644-1694) considered the greatest haiku poet: 芭蕉; Bashō was not only the greatest of haikai poets, but also a traveler. He died in Osaka, and was buried in "義仲寺; Gityuuji temple," Shiga Prefecture. The temple is the neighborhood of "石山寺; Ishiyama dera Temple “where Murasaki Shikibu wrote the Tale of Genji.
"Haiku" and “The Tale of Genji” are both eternal Japanese literature sympathized by the world.
Around 1000 AD when Murasaki Shikibu wrote “The Tale of Genji", Haiku is not yet in that era, but Waka was thriving as "Empathy Literature.”
The origin of haiku's history is the formation of Japanese language characters in the Tale and Waka in that era. One of the most important forms of that Japanese verse tradition, haiku, remains popular in modern Japan, and in recent years its popularity has spread to around the world.
Haiku is a poem with three lines and usually 17 syllables, written in a style that is traditional in Japan.
Picture says
「古池や蛙飛び込む水の音」1681/6
" furuike ya kawazu tobikomu mizu no oto "

Haiku seems to have the power of culture to "open the minds" of the people in our world. "LuzDelMes Tri-Anthology" will bring empathy to the world, too.

What is Luz Del Mes Tri-Anthology? ~¿Qué es Luz De Mes Tri-Anthology?

For generations, stories and traditions were transmitted orally, and with the invention of writing, those stories were part of the family culture. Dissociating ourselves from our roots is contrary to the nature of being. I truly believe, we all are interconnected with humanity. For this reason, I organized a multicultural chain of authors in honor of nature, unite with a literary empathy through the simplicity and deep message of a Haiku.
This project is called "Luz Del Mes Tri-Anthology" that comes to bring light and unite three languages and cultures: English, Greek and Spanish.
I  have worked countless hours with an amazing team of 30 authors, editors, translators, prologist, web and graphic designer to make this dream a reality. I will introduce the amazing team of authors in September, 2019 and launch the digital version of this Anthology on my birthday, October 21st as a gift for nature and peace.

LuzDelMes Motto/Formula: Nature + Productivity + Collaboration = Peace.
