The Duck Chronicles: Book 1: Ziggy, the Friendliest Duck by
In this book the author gave us a great lesson. The story is about
the friendless little duck, Ziggy, who teaches us how to make and grow
friendships, especially if you are coping with bullying. Ziggy is different
from other ducks that come to the park, but she teaches us that to have
friends, one must be open to others. Maddie and Alexis model that ideal by
making an effort to be Ziggy's friends.
This chapter story is written in rhyming verse. The author Gail Tucker-Griffith includes a helpful Educator or Parents Guide that integrate pedagogical tools as part of the structure and content of this book. It also contains pages in black and white, to use as COLOR pages. Congratulations! The Duck Chronicles is most highly recommended.
