Welcome June - Bienvenido Junio

 Reflections by Maritza M. Mejía

Welcome June! As the earth spins; one could feel the gentle breeze, others the cruel freeze. While Mother Nature screams out, “Be gentle, it's all I ask.”

It is time to take care of our planet. I invite you this month to be conscious about it and take action.
Have a blessed and happy summer/winter wherever you are.

Summer Break

Mission accomplished!

One more the year is over

Time to take a break!

(Haiku, @2016 Mejía)

¡Bienvenido Junio!

¡Feliz Junio y Verano!

Welcome June! As the earth spins; one could feel the gentle breeze, others the cruel freeze. While Mother Nature screams out, “Be gentle, it's all I ask.”

How many times do we hear, “It is time to take care of our planet,”  but what are we doing to protect our Common House? I invite you this month to be conscious about this topic and take action by reusing, reducing and recycling.

Have a blessed and happy summer/winter wherever you are.

¡Bienvenido Junio!

June Spotlight: The Enchanted Lair La Guarida - Bilingual Magazine

Summer Dreaming 2018 is our JUNE SPOTLIGHT. This magazine contains the most gorgeous Summer colors, inspirational poetry, delicate photographs and lovely ideas for  a season that not everyone has the opportunity to live, but this magazine travels you to a magic trip of beauty and Summer imagination in English and Spanish.

As the editor in Chief and creative Director, Marisol Espaillat Pineda  describes, "With this, our 8th anniversary issue,  we embark on a journey of Summer Dreaming! Join us as we visit the loveliest boudoirs and partake of the Simple Pleasures by the Sea. Drink from a beautiful cup and enjoy the tea and the poetry as our guests delight you with snippets of their amazing lives. Meet our guests, laureate poet, Jorge Luis, Seco. Photographer, Omar Nuñez. Screenwriter and author, L. E. Coleman, Mateo Gomez, a famous actor of film and theater and New York based designer, Gail Sarasohn, Peruse the colors of summer in all of their myriad shades and more."

My favorite line on page 20 contains a deep message, "Poetry does not need to be written to exist." It's true, with this magazine, the colors talk by themselves and make poetry without words.

I received the most gorgeous Bilingual Magazine, The Enchanted Lair ~ La Guarida Magazine Summer Dreaming by Marisol Espaillat.

Congratulations!
