Today, it is the only day of the year in which Catholic Mass is not celebrated. It's a day of fasting and solemn prayer. We celebrate the liturgy of the Passion and Death of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Many Catholic Churches have a Stations of the Cross prayer service, as well as a Veneration of the Cross service. Let's meditate! - Luke 23:34-
This is the GOLGOTHA OR CALVARY:
The place where Jesus was crucified on the hilltop and is located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.
While touring the Old City of Jerusalem, we, first, visited the Chapel of Flagellation, the Chapel of Condemnation, and the Lithostrotos, the site of the Antonia Fortress where Julius Caesar resided at the time of Christ and where Jesus was condemned to death. (Luke 23:13-25; John 19)

- - -VIERNES SANTO - - -
