Your donations arrived to Colombia

One more year, Maritza Martinez Mejia, AWA participated at the Family Reading Festival 2017 partnering with the SLC Safety Festival at First Data Field -formerly Tradition Field- on April 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This annual event is one of the ways St. Lucie County Reading Festival gives back to our local families by providing them with literacy resources, books, and fun activities.

At the Author's table, children created a "Helping Hand" Bookmark to support Habitat for Humanity Colombia.

Maritza M. Mejia at Family Reading Festival

This event brings Authors, Scholastic Book Fair, Readers Theater, stories with Mother Goose, Puppet Shows, Book Exchange and FREE Books for children.
Author Maritza Martinez Mejia has been part of The Saint Lucie County Reading Council since 2012. This year, she will present her Award-winning Poetry Book: Poems, Thoughts and More.
