Un poema en honor al día de la Tierra ~ Abril 22~
Habla Tierra

Somos tan frágiles ante la fuerza de una naturaleza,
Que no queremos cuidar.
La tierra nos está hablando,
Pero no la queremos escuchar.

Reciclar, reusar, reducir
Todos lo sabemos,
La tierra nos está hablando,
Pero no lo queremos practicar

No talas de árboles, ni desvío de ríos,
No consumo de plásticos,
La tierra nos está hablando,
Pero no la queremos cuidar

Es momento de evaluar, de solidaridad,
Oración colectiva, y unión familiar.
La tierra nos está hablando,

Pero no la queremos entender.

Haiku is a Japanese poem in honor of Nature consisting of 17-syllable verse form
of three metrical units of 5/ 7/ 5 syllables. Example: Climate Changes

5 syllables: As the planet spins     
 7 syllables:   One can feel the gusty win   
 5 syllables: Others the cold breeze
