LuzDelMes August Book of the Month

Introducing NEW book about Patrick Lafcadio Hearn

Patrick Lafcadio Hearn was a writer known also by the Japanese name Koizumi Yakumo. He wrote books about Japan, especially his collections of Japanese legends and ghost stories.

Title: Myths and stories of the Far East Fairytale traveling with Patrick Lafcadio Hearn

Translated by talented author Eva Petropoylou Lianoy-Writer.

Illustrated by Ntina Anastasiadou.

Preface written by Japan ambassador in Greece, Mr. Yasuhiro Shimizu.

Credits: Takis Efstathiou.

Publisher Vivlio Anazitiseis Publications

The book will be presented in Thessaloniki in the presence of the university and the painter.

I agree with the Managing Director Maria Stylianou, she said, “I always thought that art and culture had enormous power and that they were able to unite people with their culture. In recent months, we have all worked very hard for this masterpiece. This book comes to unite four countries, Cyprus, Greece, Japan and Russia.　Original text: "Θεωρούσα πάντοτε πως η τέχνη και πολιτισμός έχουν τεράστια δύναμη και πως είναι σε θέση να ενώσουν τους λαούς με την κουλτούρα τους…”

Best wishes to all the team from LuzDelMes, Publishing-USA

Welcome August! ~¡Bienvenido Agosto!

Reflections by Maritza Martínez Mejía

A new season is around the corner. For some, a new school year is about to beginning, for others the routine continues. Learn from your mistakes and work with enthusiasm each day. It is time to accomplish your dreams. I encourage you to have faith in yourself and most of all; in God. Have a Happy August!
