What is Lent? Lent is a season of the Christian Calendar for preparation to Easter.
When is Lent? It is the forty days before Easter. Lent excludes Sundays because every Sunday is like a little Easter.
Mardi Gras is the day before Lent, which begins with Ash Wednesday.

Praying: You can pray while you walk, drive or in a private area. Use any devotional prayer book or music to create a time of quiet listening to God.
Alms Giving: You can collect food for the needy, friend or family. Serving others is one way we serve God.
Fasting: You can fast by cutting out some food or things in your life that distract you from God. For example let go, social media, soft drinks, candies or even cigarette. You might skip one meal a day, but always drink plenty of water.
