LUZDELMES TRI-ANTHOLOGY EXHIBITION 

Plans have changed due to the corona era and present social distance protocol. I was not able to travel to lovely Kyoto, but the amazing support of Professor Masashi Nakamura to LuzDelMes Tri-Anthology made the art exhibition possible. What a nice spirit and great courage to find a new venue and opportunity to join a global collaboration of Haiga artists, poets, Haikuist, Monks, volunteers, and an amazing photographer Everett Kennedy Brown. Let's celebrate Mother Earth Week! Most appreciated support to LuzDelMes.

Even though this wonderful Exhibition in Kyoto was postponed, Professor Masashi Nakamura has moved the exhibition online, creating virtual ceremonies, cultural projects, publications and solidarity with our global communities. LuzDelMes Tri-Anthology is honored to be part of these talented artists. 

 Today,  April 22nd, 10 am Japan time in a new venue 

the exhibition and ceremony will take place.

The Japanese Spiritual History from Kojiki, Haiku to Lafcadio Hearn, in the Nature in line with this concept, all collaborator's works are exhibited, with a Memorial Book.

World Book Day - Día del Libro

April 23er is a symbolic and annual date for World Book Day 📕 or Copyright Day. It's a day that celebrate the anniversary of the death of Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra: a Spanish writer who is widely regarded as the greatest writer in the Spanish language. Acknowledge one of the world's preeminent novelists, William Shakespeare: widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's greatest dramatist. and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega: a chronicler and writer born in the Spanish Empire's Viceroyalty of Peru.

According to UNESCO  (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Book Day was first celebrated on 23 April 1995 to promote reading, publishing and copyright.

What can you do to celebrate this day?... Support an Author!

Virtual Earth Day - Día de la Tierra Virtual: April 22

EARTH DAY 
Wednesday, April 22nd marks the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day. Since 1970 environmental awareness has been raised to have consciousness about the state of our planet and the consequences of our actions to the environment. Several countries will had have  meetings to discuss this topic and some activities are given their lives to create awareness about the damage we are causing to our "Common House.".  Maybe a tiny virus and destructive pandemic, teach us to protect our Planet. 

Due to the present situation and social distance protocol, this year we celebrate Earth Day Virtually with poetry LuzDelMes. #VirtualEarthDay2020 🗺️

POETRY FOR THE SOUL LUZDELMES:

And the Earth begins to breath, 
the waters flow in harmony, 

the animals left their cages, 

the sky  cleared, 

the sun shone with joy, 

the moon illuminated with hope 

when humans hide in their houses,
six feet apart from each other,

and the machines stop its engines.

DÍA DE LA TIERRA 
El miércoles, 22 de abril es el 50 aniversario del Día de la Tierra. Desde 1970 se ha tratado de crear consciencia ecológica sobre el estado de la Tierra y el impacto de nuestras acciones en el medio ambiente. Varios países han tenido jornadas colectivas y activistas han dado hasta su vida para  alertarnos del daño que le causamos a nuestra "Casa Común," Tierra. Tal vez un diminuto virus y destructiva pandemia, nos enseñe a cuidar nuestro Planeta. 

Dadas la presente circunstancia y protocoles de distanciamiento social, celebraremos de forma virtual  el día de la tierra con poesía LuzDelMes. #DiadelaTierraVirtual2020 🗺️#LuzDelMes ✨

POESÍA PARA EL ALMA LUZDELMES:

Y la Tierra empezó a respirar, 
los mares a fluir en armonía,

los animales salieron de su cautiverio, 

el cielo se despejó, 
el sol destello con alegría, 

la luna brilló con esperanza,  
cuando el humano se encerró en su casa,
Seis pies de distancia

y las máquinas pararon sus motores...

National Arbor Day - Día Nacional del Árbol

National Arbor Day is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plan trees. According to history, it is always celebrated on the last Friday in April, but many states observe Arbor Day on different dates throughout the year based on best tree planting times in their area.

Easter in Quarantine - Pascua en Cuarentena

This Easter has been a unique time in history. A virus turned down all projects and celebrations, but not our faith. It has shone more than ever wordwide.

It’s time to leave behind the spiritual winter and celebrate the season of Florida Easter. As Christians we were welcoming Florid Easter, a time of renewal. Other traditions welcome Spring as symbol of new life. Trees, plants, fields are beginning to turn green and blossom; new life is emerging from the ground. Just as winter symbolizes death, spring symbolizes new life. Happy Easter!

Ésta Pascua ha sido histórica. Un virus cambio todos nuestros proyectos y celebraciones, pero no apago nuestra fe que está más viva que nunca en todo el mundo. 

Es hora de dejar atrás el invierno espiritual y celebrar el tiempo de Pascua Florida. Como cristianos/as le damos la bienvenida a la Pascua Florida o tiempo de renovación. Otras tradiciones dan la bienvenida a la primavera como símbolo de una nueva vida. Los árboles, las plantas, los campos están comenzando a volverse verdes y florecer; nueva vida está emergiendo de la tierra. Así como el invierno simboliza la muerte, la primavera simboliza una nueva vida. ¡Felices Pascuas!
