Bilingual Books for Multicultural Children's Book Day 1/27/17

We are getting ready to Celebrate

Multicultural Children's Book Day

#ReadYourWorld

1/27/17

Bilingual Books A Gift for you!
Bilingual education is growing each year as parents, teachers and authors recognize the growing opportunities in early language learning.

Research has shown that young children who learn another language are more tolerant of cultural differences and more accepting of diversity than monolinguals.

My contribution to Multicultural Children’s Book Day event is not only to present my Bilingual Books Collection: Lessons for Living, but also to read my bilingual stories to classrooms locally and abroad.

Let's Party with Bilingual Collection

I’m reviewing these books as part of the Multicultural Children’s Book Day 2017 (1/27/17) is its fourth year and was founded by Valarie Budayr from Jump Into A Book and Mia Wenjen from PragmaticMom. Our mission is to raise awareness on the ongoing need to include kid’s books that celebrate diversity in home and school bookshelves while also working diligently to get more of these types of books into the hands of young readers, parents and educators.
Despite census data that shows 37% of the US population consists of people of color, only 10% of children’s books published have diversity content. Using the Multicultural Children’s Book Day holiday, the MCBD Team are on a mission to change all of that.
