Luz del mes wants to invite you to become aware
of the care of our Planet by giving the importance of the FOUR Rs: Reuse,
Recycle, Reduce and Respect for Nature. It is time to make some changes on how we use
waste. Let's follow the Japanese cultural concept of "Mottainai" in
an environmental way. “Mottainai” expresses regret at the idea of
waste and reflects an awareness of interdependence and impermanence of things. It
is all about reusing, re-purposing, repairing and respecting items.

decoration for the garden.

invitarles a tomar consciencia del cuidado de nuestro Planeta dando importancia

3.
MILK CARTON: Cut in half and turn it into a
birdhouse.

En el mes de Octubre quiero
invitarles a tomar consciencia del cuidado de nuestro Planeta dando importancia
a las CUATRO Rs: Reusar, Reciclar, Reducir y Respetar la
Naturaleza.
Es hora de hacer
algunos cambios en cómo usamos los desechos. Sigamos el concepto cultural
japonés de "Mottainai" en forma ambiental. “Mottainai” expresa pesar
por el desperdicio y refleja una conciencia de interdependencia y permanencia
de las cosas. Se trata de reutilizar, rehusar, reparar y respetar los
artículos.
Pueden usar éstas
ideas para disfrutar los fines de semana en familia creando arte y usando
las 4Rs con un concepto ambientalista:
1. LATAS DE CONSERVAS: Píntelas y
conviértalas en decoraciones para el jardín.
2. BOTES DE
PLÁSTICO: Píntelos y úselos
como coloridas maceteras
(materas).
3.
CARTONES DE LECHE: Córtelo a la mitad y conviértelo en casita para los pájaros.
Usemos la CUATRO Rs
